Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS. You will provide security and customer service at an aerospace/defense facility, with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

You must have a minimum of 6 months security experience, a valid driver’s license, and be 18+ (21+ for armed). High school diploma required; background check and drug screening apply. Pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout aerospace and defense facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
