Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Prineville, OR. This position offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.75 per hour with a Friday night 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM schedule. You will work at a technology‑focused corporate site providing security and customer service, with opportunities to grow and earn more through additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Age requirements: at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology‑focused corporate location following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report access‑control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document actions.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and emergency responders while safeguarding confidential information.

Job Schedule

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology‑focused corporate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and emergency responders while maintaining awareness of confidential and sensitive work environments.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
