Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Temple, PA. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the potential to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, within a six-month anchor commitment.

The position provides the chance to build experience in security services with a leading North American provider. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with part-time hours including Sat and Sun 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, monitor activity at assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
