Allied Universal in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, customer-focused security services at a technology-focused site. This role offers flexible hours and a path toward full-time opportunities within the industry leader.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials; report irregularities according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, controlled manner and escalate as needed.
• Prepare clear reports and shift documentation of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures; verify credentials in accordance with site policies and report irregularities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
