Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management according to facility procedures.
• Document observations and communicate information to site leadership.

As a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time - Medical Site Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

Day: Sat

Time: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with healthcare facility procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
