Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Loss Prevention Patrol in Wilmington, CA. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, and respond to incidents as part of a collaborative team. The position offers part-time hours, a base schedule during DayTime and evening shifts, and training with the potential to scale up to full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the health care location to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately per site requirements.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Loss Prevention Patrol in Wilmington, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and interior spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately in accordance with site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
