Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security experience, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe inbound and outbound vehicle, package, and personnel activity in accordance with established post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Loss Prevention Patrol in Ellenwood, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.

• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
