Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Concierge in Chesterfield, MI. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.

Schedule: Daytime shifts Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM and Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. This role supports a safe, welcoming front-desk environment and ongoing security operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Manage the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain logs.
• Monitor access points, cameras and alarms; report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership and document daily activities.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Concierge in Chesterfield, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Manage the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, communications systems, and security‑related cameras and alarms as assigned, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, document daily activities and incidents, and support a welcoming, orderly front‑desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
