Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Services in Lakeland, FL. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor visitor and vehicle arrival activity, verify credentials as directed, issue appropriate visitor access materials, and maintain accurate entry and departure records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, communicate with site personnel, and provide clear information regarding facility access, deliveries, and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents according to Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Services in Lakeland, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
