Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor or vendor access before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and access logs, and report access irregularities or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control in Springfield, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
