Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception Operations in Quakertown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

  • Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required for relevant positions.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for job‑related tasks.

• CPR Certification:

  • CPR certification is required. Training will be provided free of charge by the company (B205).

• Customer Service Experience (B219):

  • Candidates should have a background in customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

• Loss Prevention (B210):

  • Experience or knowledge in loss prevention strategies is preferred for applicable roles.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and direct deliveries, answer phones, and provide directions or information to support orderly access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security‑related policy violations to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional front desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
