Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or clients at a financial institution reception area while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments or access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other designated entry points, observe activity in the reception area, and report suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Answer calls, provide directions, and communicate professionally with facility personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception Operations in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or clients at a financial institution reception area while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments or access authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other designated entry points, observe activity within the reception area, and report suspicious or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions or general information, and communicate professionally with facility personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, armed security‑related professional, or certified law enforcement graduate.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
