Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize routine and urgent service requests, and coordinate the deployment of security‑related personnel to support site operations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports; communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, and report observed hazards, access concerns, or unusual activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Communications in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
