Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Driver in Seattle, WA. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $23.72 per hour. The position supports a six-month anchor shift commitment and the option to expand with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, enabling growth toward full-time schedules at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the terminal location in accordance with procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas to identify unusual conditions and support security operations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Driver in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the terminal location in accordance with established procedures and applicable security‑related requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support security‑related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
