Allied Universal in Kutztown, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Authorization Review to provide dependable, flexible hours at a logistics site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, the business, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors while supporting traffic flow and adherence to site access requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Authorization Review in Kutztown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
