Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Pharr, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings, while providing dependable hours at a retail grocery location.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Pharr, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, customer concerns, and potential security‑related issues in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, theft‑related concerns, hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations through required communication channels.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
