Allied Universal in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol. The position offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card/License, 21+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of background and drug screening. Pay is $30 per hour with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspected theft, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor activity within the store and surrounding property, help to deter unauthorized access and criminal activity, and report suspicious conditions or persons to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and observations, while complying with applicable armed post requirements and Allied Universal policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Buffalo, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wednesday 12:00 PM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Preferred: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
