• Carry authorized security equipment in line with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Incident Response in Oklahoma City, OK, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 01:30 PM - 08:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while remaining alert to unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow site-specific reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and maintain required documentation of incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
