Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Armed Driver in Independence, MO. This role offers fixed shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, providing income stability and potential for more hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and document entries and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents calmly and prepare clear, timely reports for appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Security Clearance in Independence, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.37 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 AM - 07:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear, timely reports.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
