Allied Universal® in Dodge City, KS is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with anchor shifts and an option to pick-up additional shifts through the Earn More, Pick-Up program.

You will perform access-control duties, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond calmly to incidents at a manufacturing site. A valid driver's license and 6 months security experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, incident, and shift activity records; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, interior areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and report observed concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Dodge City, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
