Allied Universal in Navarre, Ohio is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, site-specific security and customer service. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, while maintaining a consistent part-time schedule.

Salary is $19.72 per hour with a day schedule of 3:00 PM–11:00 PM on Wednesdays; driving positions require a license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue access credentials, and logs.
• Control access to restricted areas per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas and access points.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Navarre, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Control access to industrial work areas, shipping and receiving locations, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
