Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for Covington, GA. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and optional additional shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, enforcing site policies, responding to incidents, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. The position pays $19.00 per hour and requires background screening and a drug test where permitted

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials in accordance with established healthcare facility procedures.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, contractors, deliveries, and visitors; maintain accurate access-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Covington, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
