Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and dealership personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle lot concerns, and critical situations calmly and report to appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of dealership buildings, lots, service areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe traffic, report suspicious activity, hazards, damage, or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Timein Shreveport, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and dealership personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle lot concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of dealership buildings, vehicle display areas, service departments, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report suspicious activity, hazards, damage, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
