Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced (Part Time) in Savannah, GA. This flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling income growth while maintaining a base schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry and observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with relevant personnel.
• Document daily activities and incidents according to reporting procedures.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and following established visitor and delivery procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns and coordinating with appropriate personnel as directed.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
