Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Reception for a fixed Camden, NJ site. This role offers reliable hours with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.57 per hour, with a day-time Saturday schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. The position emphasizes customer service at a front desk, gatekeeper responsibilities, and adherence to site-specific security procedures.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Reception in Camden, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, customers, and employees at a front desk location within an automotive environment while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, manage visitor sign‑in processes, issue appropriate access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, observe lobby activity, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and support a professional, welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
