Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Enhanced in Independence, KY, to provide reliable security services at a logistics site. This role offers anchored shifts and the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform unarmed security duties, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service. The position requires a HS diploma, background check, and may involve a drug screen;

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per location.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of people and vehicles entering and leaving the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security‑related activities in required reports.

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security‑related activities in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
