Job summary

Allied Universal in Delray Beach, FL seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Morgue for part-time shifts at a hospital site. You will provide security services, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining patient and staff safety.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, paying $17.91 per hour and the potential to grow toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in or around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control procedures, visitor direction, and response to alarms, while maintaining professional communication with facility personnel and the public.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and facility representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Morgue in Delray Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

DayTimeSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
