Qualifications

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies in a healthcare setting.
• Greet and assist visitors, verify access permissions, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help deter unauthorized access while providing courteous assistance to the public.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wed 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
