As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control Driver in Beaumont, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (”Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Inspect personnel, vehicles, packages, and materials in accordance with site procedures and applicable access‑control requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
