Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at the Junction City, KS site. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, designed to provide reliable hours and income stability.

You will perform access control, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and maintain records in a food and beverage production setting. The position emphasizes flexibility and career growth within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, delivery credentials, and/or contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, delivery, and contractor entry and exit records; issue and recover access credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and support site policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Junction City, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
