Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Cincinnati, OH. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include access control, customer service to employees and visitors, incident response, and regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity. Training and growth opportunities are provided within Allied Universal’s security team.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card/license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Manage access control by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
