Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Emergency Readiness Patrol in Omaha, NE. You will serve and safeguard clients across government locations, perform routine unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while carrying out site procedures and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activities in reports.
• Maintain daily activity logs and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $19.74 / Hour

• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in required reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
