Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Electronic Entry Systems in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, and support badge access processes. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry processes, and document access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and security-related activities while supporting a professional environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
