As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Management in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Security Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be verifiable and directly related to the position for which the candidate is applying.

Valid Driver's License

• All candidates must hold a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located (C124). This requirement is essential for positions that involve travel or the operation of company vehicles.

Technical Proficiency

• Candidates should demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

Customer Service Experience

• A background in customer service is required (B219). Candidates should have experience in interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing support in a professional manner.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established site procedures, escalating irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entry points and perimeter areas, to identify and report security‑related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
