Allied Universal in Lakeland, FL seeks a Security Officer Driver Receptionist to welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity and deliver outstanding customer service at a financial institution, using site-specific procedures and security policies.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of security-related experience, a background check, and compliance with licensing rules; the position offers $17.75 per hour, paid training, benefits, and growth

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, employees, and contractors; verify identification and access authorization in accordance with established visitor-management procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, and promptly report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident records while providing clear directions and assistance to guests.

What You'll Do:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
