Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Oregon, OH to serve and safeguard clients across utilities-related locations. You will conduct patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while upholding customer service excellence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum of one year security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and a commitment to teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
