Job Description

Security Officer Driver Patrol Hazard Assessment in Crown Point, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating matters as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related incidents and daily activities.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
