Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Entry Control in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You\u2019ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.


• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of activity at assigned access points and following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver\u2019s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver\u2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
