Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per policy.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and delivery records.
• Coordinate access for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and vendor personnel in accordance with site requirements and established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

At a dynamic logistics and distribution location, Access Control Officers manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving position may require operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver professional communication and customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and delivery records.
• Coordinate access for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and vendor personnel in accordance with site requirements and established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
