Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with responders.
• Perform regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and log security data.
• Follow site protocols to protect materials, equipment, and sensitive areas.

Job Description

As a Security Officer in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Follow site protocols for the protection of controlled materials, equipment, and sensitive work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.i
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
