Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, drivers, and guests. You will maintain a visible presence, help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify visitor, contractor, and driver authorization, and maintain accurate access records.
• Manage vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, warehouse facilities, and restricted locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
