As a **Security Officer - Distribution Site Patrol - Full Time** in **Hagerstown, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. **What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Screen individuals entering the facility to verify authorization and maintain access control protocols.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the logistics and distribution environment.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel as part of daily screening duties.

+ Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
