Responsibilities Of a Security Officer

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Security Officer

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to successfully pass an extensive background screening process
• 1–2 years of security or law enforcement experience required
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in basic computer and smartphone applications
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma CLEET license or have the ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience is highly valued. Candidates who served in a security-related military occupational specialty or were assigned security responsibilities during their military service are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement environments is preferred.
