• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures as required by site.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Deterrence Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
