Job Description

Allied Universal is now hiring in Philadelphia, PA, specifically at the 1400 Block of Samson Street. This full-time position operates Monday through Sunday from 6 am to 2 pm, paying $16 per hour. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and have at least 1 year of security experience. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing or walking for long periods.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with environments and conditions varying by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background checks and drug screening as per legal requirements.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
