Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Response in Wilson, NC. You will monitor and patrol industrial locations, provide professional customer service, maintain safety, and support access control with a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, loading docks, and other areas.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents following site protocols.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, loading docks, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities while following required site protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
