Fermilab is seeking an experienced Security Officer to protect personnel and facilities in Batavia, NY, 24/7. You will patrol, secure entries, and respond to incidents while following site policies and DOE CFR requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, a 20-hour Basic Security Training certificate, IL PERC card, and U.S. citizenship, with pre-employment background and drug screening. Onsite work schedule may vary to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

The expected hiring range for this position is:$24.52-$24.52.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance, referral bonus program, or sponsorship assistance.About the Role:Fermilab is seeking a Security Officer who under general supervision from the Security Lieutenant, will be responsible for providing customer service to the Laboratory by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities on a 24 hours/day, 7 days/week environment. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement and is assigned to the day shift.
