Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Kearney, NE. You will serve and safeguard clients across technology and business environments while delivering excellent customer service.

Your duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, reporting incidents, and maintaining a professional presence to deter security-related issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent must be satisfied.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles per requirements.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity; document observations and report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; communicate with site contacts and leadership as appropriate.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence in a technology-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and/or other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and assigned security-related systems; document observations and report concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
