This position requires availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a maximum of 15 hours per week over a period of 31 weeks. This position is not eligible for benefits. There is no guarantee of permanent placement.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, screen, and direct all visitors to company property following established procedures.
- Enforce Company security and parking policies consistently and fairly
- Patrol Company property as requested, identifying and reporting safety and security hazards
- Secure and/or unsecured properties as directed
- Respond to medical, fire, security, and other safety related emergencies as trained
- Write clear witness reports
- Provide security presence at special events. production activities, including private screenings, parties, etc.
- Assist in the placement and removal of barricades and posts and the opening and closing of gates for the direction of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
- Monitor security equipment/technologies and report problems
- Act as guest hosts, answering routine questions from visitors and employees, where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates integrity in all forms of communication and action
- Superior writing ability and command of basic English grammar
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic familiarity with computers, including MS Outlook e-mail and MS Word
- Flexibility to work varying schedule (hours and days off), especially overtime
- Must possess valid California BSIS issued Guard Card and California Driver’s License(must provide training records for BSIS Compliance)
- Must have valid certificates for CPR, First Aid, and AED.
- Demonstrate excellent decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision
- Clear teamwork focus but also able to work independently when required
- Creative thinker and highly adaptable
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to operate company transportation, including electric vehicles and bicycles
- Physical ability to perform all responsibilities as listed above.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule, including afternoons and evenings

The pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $22.8375 per hour.
