Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and disruptive conduct through a visible presence and professional interaction with customers and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
